Cancellation Policy

1. A booking is confirmed only when full payment has been received and a confirmation has been issued by Great Forklift Training. Course places are limited and reserved specifically for the named delegate. 2. Full payment is required at the time of booking. 3. Consumer Cooling-Off Rights 3.1 If you are booking as an individual consumer online, you may have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of making the booking. 3.2 If your course is scheduled to take place during this period, by booking you expressly request that we begin providing the service before the cooling-off period ends. 3.3 Where services have commenced at your request, we may charge for services provided in accordance with applicable consumer law. 4. Cancellations and Refunds 4.1 All cancellation requests must be made in writing to office@greattraininggroup.co.uk. 4.2 Cancellations made more than 14 calendar days before the course start date will receive a full refund. 4.3 Cancellations made within 14 calendar days of the course start date are non-refundable and the full course fee remains payable. 4.4 Non-attendance is treated as a cancellation on the day of the course and no refund will be provided. 4.5 Course places are reserved exclusively for each booking. Once reserved, instructor time, administrative resources, training materials, accreditation arrangements where applicable, and course capacity are committed to that booking. For this reason, cancellations made within 14 calendar days of the course start date are treated in the same manner as non-attendance. 5. Delegates must be at least 18 years old, must be medically fit to undertake practical training safely, must be able to understand spoken English sufficiently to follow training and safety instructions. Delegates must wear suitable PPE, including safety footwear and a high-visibility vest unless otherwise advised. 5.5 We may refuse training where these requirements are not met. No refund will be due in such circumstances. 6. Conduct and Safety We may refuse, suspend, or terminate training where a delegate is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, behaves unsafely, refuses to follow instructions, or creates a safety risk. No refund will be given where training is refused or terminated for these reasons. 7. Certification is not guaranteed and is subject to successful completion of all required assessments. 8. Cancellation by Us: if we cancel a course, we will offer an alternative date or a full refund.
